Frequently Asked Questions

How long do rings take to make?

Whatever your timescale do get in touch to see what’s possible. The time needed to create a ring depends on the complexity of the design. Preferably allow approx. 6-8 weeks in order to ensure enough time to discuss designs back and forth and source materials.

Can rings be re-sized?

It’s always best to have an idea of the correct size needed however if you don’t know the exact size, most rings can be re-sized by a few sizes. The labour for the first ring size is free of charge, however subsequent re-sizes may incur a charge.

Should I insure my ring?

It is recommended you insure your item through a private insurance company to cover any loss, theft, wear and tear or damage. I do not take any responsibility for gemstones subjected to accidental damage resulting in the gemstone being damaged or lost.  Please contact your insurers to claim for a replacement if necessary.

How much do engagement rings cost?

How long is a piece of string?! It is impossible to provide an exact answer without more information and further discussion. Prices vary depending on your choice of metal, gemstone and design. It is important that you provide an idea of your budget at the start so that choices can be made to suit. As a guide, diamond engagement rings start from £1500. However, please do get in touch to see what is possible within the budget you have. That is the beauty of bespoke, items can be tailored to the available budget.

Is each item made bespoke?

Yes. Every item is made from scratch for you. This means that you can specify exactly what you want. Every item is designed and hand-finished in North Wales. There are stages in between where external help within the UK is called upon e.g. casting services and complex stone setting.

Do our wedding bands have to match?

They do not. If you’d like for them to match that’s great but it’s not necessary. Each individual should choose the ring that they truly want as they’ll be the ones wearing it every day for the rest of their lives.

To gain an accurate size you can visit me at my workshop or your local Jeweller who will either measure your finger or another ring you own. If this isn't possible please use this template here or a ring sizer can be sent to you in the post.  Do not measure your finger when you are too cold / hot.
